1994 – 2000

Rapid Growth

  • 1994 — Networks México (Netmex) is founded, becoming one of the country's pioneer ISPs.
  • We accelerated our growth to reach a base of 6,000 internet users by 1999.
  • The company was acquired by IFX Networks (NAS: FUTR).
  • In 1997 we launched VoIP services through the international long-distance division.
  • We deployed over 300 POPs across Mexico's largest cities.
2001 – 2009

Connecting LATAM

  • We consolidated Grupo IPBTel, leaders in international long-distance commercialization in Latin America.
  • VoIP expanded across LATAM and international markets. NOC deployed in Monterrey.
  • In 2004 we reached over 100 million international voice minutes per month and deployed our first SIP network.
  • Deployment of the 4th Data Center POP and opening of the Houston office.
  • In 2009 we created Conectatel and Nimbus — IPPBX solutions and cloud-based call center software.
2010 – 2011

New Horizons

  • We expanded our presence to Asia and Europe, connecting with 5 Data Centers and carrying 500 million minutes per month on the network.
  • In 2011 we created Bicentel, offering cloud SIP trunks and becoming the first certified SIP provider for Microsoft Lync.
  • The SMS division is founded. An exclusive agreement is signed with Telefónica Central América.
2011 – 2015

C3ntro Telecom is Born

  • Operating 5 companies made unification necessary: we created C3ntro Telecom.
  • The integration of Level SMS in 2012 led us to diversify our portfolio and markets.
  • In 2013 we acquired UNIKA, the largest Microsoft Communication Gold Partner in Mexico.
  • Video Conferencing as a Service was added to the Enterprise Products portfolio.
  • In 2014 the Data division was born with interconnections to 8 redundant data centers in Mexico and the USA.
2016 – 2018

New Business

  • We integrated Cloud PBX — the only provider in LATAM to offer Office 365 + Skype for Business as a cloud PBX.
  • We consolidated international connectivity, interconnecting our services to the cloud worldwide.
  • C3ntro Fiber is created and our Monterrey POP opens. We have over 400 Managed Circuits.
  • 2017: design of over 1,000 km of fiber rings. More than 100 km of fiber installed.
2019 – 2021

C3ntro Telecom Today

  • In 2020, 600 km of fiber are built and the Cancún ring is completed.
  • 1,600 km of fiber built. Metro Rings in CDMX, Morelia, Puebla, MTY.
  • Data Center Interconnect complete.
2022 – 2024

Preparing for the Future

  • +1,000 km of fiber deployed.
  • Long-distance route Qro. – CDMX is built.
  • +2 km of fiber deployed.
2025 – 2026

Enabling the Future of AI

  • 3,500 km deployed in Mexico.
  • 600 km deployed in Querétaro.
  • 60 km deployed in Phoenix and 100 km total in the USA.
  • TIKVA deployed at 75%.
  • We announce our CSN-2 project in the Gulf of Mexico.

Simón Masri
Simón Masri
President & CEO

Simón Masri Askenazi is an entrepreneur with over 26 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career by founding Networks México and Tercer Nivel, building and integrating various organizations into one of the most successful and consolidated business groups in the country — C3ntro Telecom — where he currently serves as President and CEO.

Leading the organization, he defines and directs the execution of the company's strategic plans, focusing his efforts on short- and long-term financial growth objectives, driving development through the innovation of new services, products and solutions, and the continuous pursuit of customer service excellence.

Simón Masri holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana. Over the years he has accumulated extensive business development experience. His entrepreneurial spirit is the driving force of the organization, and his experience in high-performance team management and integration makes him an outstanding leader of C3ntro Telecom.

Salomón Masri
Salomón Masri
Director of Administration & Finance

Salomón has over 20 years of experience in the financial and administrative fields, with broad expertise in areas such as financial planning, internal control, corporate financing, and risk management.

He is a cornerstone of the organization, serving as Director of Administration and Finance, and is responsible for cash management, investments, control and operation of the company's financing.

His extensive knowledge in Telecommunications and Finance has enabled C3ntro Telecom to continue developing investments and infrastructure, driving the growth and innovation of its solutions.

Eli Sitt
Eli Sitt
CEO Enterprise

Eli Sitt is an entrepreneur in telecommunications business. He founded his first telecom company in 2007 with Conectatel, selling and deploying PBX systems, with over 150 implementations across Mexico. He is the creator of the cloud-based Contact Center platform.

Focused on productivity and with a techno-commercial vision, he brings a unique combination of commercial, technical, management and analytical skills. He has valuable experience in planning, developing and executing strategies, architecture and effective solutions with multiple teams and different technologies simultaneously. He served as a strategic link between business and IT to drive change and exceptional service delivery and implementations.

Eli serves as VP of Sales and Marketing at C3ntro Telecom and is an investor in various Real Estate and Technology projects. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of 3 Mexican technology startups and a non-profit organization.

Abraham Smeke
Abraham Smeke
CEO Global

Abraham joined the C3ntro Telecom Group in 2004, and since then has contributed to taking the company from a Mexico-based startup to a global technology leader. As VP of the Global Carrier Division, he is responsible for all matters related to the management and supervision of the long-distance traffic handled by the group, as well as expanding commercial relationships, interacting with other business areas, and providing intellectual leadership in technology; he is also responsible for advising and collaborating with leaders and executives on business matters.

Since joining C3ntro Telecom, he held various positions and worked directly on the company's technical and commercial strategies alongside founders Simón and Salomón Masri. Under his leadership, IPBtel dramatically expanded its infrastructure and diversified its service offering while maintaining its firm philosophy of innovation.

Abraham is a member of C3ntro Telecom's Board of Directors and leads a strong team of professionals committed to their work.
